Lesson 7.3
Showing up online: consistent and authentic
Loom walkthrough coming for this lesson. The written version below is complete.
Professionalism also shows up in your online presence, but that doesn't mean being bland.
Be yourself, consistently
If you're someone who swears, that's fine. If you're everything to everybody, you're nothing to someone. The right clients will be drawn to the real you.
What's not fine is pretending to be someone you're not. If you project one personality online and a client signs up to find a different person in their check-ins, that inconsistency erodes trust from day one.
Show up where you want to be known
- If you want to be an online coach, you have to be online. Show up consistently.
- If you want to be a good sales rep, you make lots of calls. People have to know your name.
- If you want to be a good realtor, your face is on billboards and you knock on a lot of doors.
Show up where you want to be, consistently and authentically.
