Loom walkthrough coming for this lesson. The written version below is complete.

You can know everything in Modules 1–6 and still lose clients, if you don't run yourself like a professional. This module is about three things:

  1. Professionalism: treating your job like a job, and living as the example
  2. Communication: how, where and when you talk to clients, and following up when they go quiet
  3. Scope of practice: knowing exactly where your job ends, and referring out cleanly when a client crosses that line

People problems don't stop at 5pm. If you want a 9-to-5 where nobody needs you after hours, online coaching probably isn't it.

The principles behind this module: coaching is a dialogue, not a monologue (it's a relationship, and relationships need showing up), their reality is reality (empathy doesn't clock off) and practicality over perfection (you don't need a studio, you need standards).

By the end of this module you should be able to:

  • Hold yourself to a professional standard, wherever in the world you work from
  • Choose your communication channels and set the right expectations for each
  • Follow up on missed check-ins so no client quietly sinks
  • Recognise when something is outside your scope, and refer without ego
