Lesson 6.1
Classify the week
Loom walkthrough coming for this lesson. The written version below is complete.
In a fat-loss phase, every check-in falls into one of three openings. Name which one before you do anything else.

A[Read the check-in] --> B{Which opening?}
B --> C[On track,
good results]
B --> D[Somewhat on track,
slow results]
B --> E[Off track,
no results]
C --> F[HOLD]
D --> G[Find the main issue
6.2, then one lever 6.5]
E --> H[Simplify and
run an adherence week]| Opening | What it looks like | Default move |
|---|---|---|
| 1. On track, good results | Losing at the expected rate (roughly 0.5–1% of bodyweight a week, 7-day average). Adherence clean. Photos and waist agree with the scale. | Hold. Don't push hunger or fatigue higher to chase a faster number. If the rate is clearly cooling over 3 weeks, a tiny push is optional, never mandatory. |
| 2. Somewhat on track, slow results | Mostly adherent, but losing well under target (roughly 100–300 g a week). The "two steps forward, one back" feeling. | The most common week. Find the main issue first (6.2), then pull one lever if needed (6.5). |
| 3. Off track, no results | Lots of events, off plan most days, scale flat or up. | Simplify. Don't deepen a deficit they aren't hitting. Aim for one clean week at 90%+ adherence, then reassess. |
Don't push a client who's already losing faster than about 1% of bodyweight a week. That's where muscle and gym performance start to go.
